WE LIVE IN TURBULENT TIMES
Whilst the house building market remains in the doldrums there is some hope for optimism as the government has pledged to guarantee mortgages to those banks and building societies lending to the house buying public.
Flowfront continues to focus on Civil Engineering. Our target areas remain highways, railways and costal defence work as well as airports and the nuclear sector.
As we move into the Olympics year 2012 we are confident that continuing infrastructure works, coupled with an increasing house building programme will carry us forward and ensure growth.
CHARITY
The Charity Quiz Night held in October was a great success and made £1000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Many thanks to all our local supporters including Moneypenny and the nurses from The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic hospital who supplied a team.

Following on from our recent successful audit from Investors in People we have decided to be even more inclusive of the staff in policy making and continuing professional development. During 2012 Investors in People will be on the agenda at staff meetings and a series of training events and seminars will be used to ensure the continued professional development of all our staff and Managers.
YOUTH EMPLOYMENT CHARTER
Following the lead set by the Recruitment Employers Confederation we have recently signed up to the Youth Employment Charter. We will work with our clients to support young people in their quest for work and opportunities. Furthermore we will work with other organizations to achieve these aims. SAFETY BULLETIN
Safety is Flowfront’s number one priority. The Health and Safety Executive highlight some of the key health and safety risks to our frontline employees, the aim is to reduce the Accident Frequency Rate by engaging the workforce with relevant and dynamic health and safety messages.
This month we are highlighting the dangers of Slips, Trips and Falls. These are generally uncontrolled events and can be prevented.

LETTER FROM THE MD
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all our staff for making a truly great effort during 2011. We successfully moved offices, upgraded and improved our IT and communications as well as our database and at the same time managed to keep our clients happy.
We have provided white-collar and blue-collar personnel to a wide variety of projects with virtually 100% acceptance of the personnel provided.
Our management and staff have soaked up the ethos of quality and service to our clients as well as our workforce, resulting in the satisfaction of all concerned.
